Bishop Mitchell G. Taylor, Senior Pastor of the Center of Hope International and Co-Founder/CEO of Urban Upbound, has worked tirelessly to make public housing a springboard of economic success for the children that live there. Bishop Taylor has played a leading role in the development and growth of the Save for College Program since its inception. He has contributed to the early design of the platform, spearheaded community-wide education efforts, led Community Scholarship campaigns including the Concert for College, and worked to integrate the Program into Urban Upbound’s workforce development and financial counseling services. Here Bishop Taylor shares what the Save for College Program means to him and his community.
