As the lead on family engagement and empowerment at their school and the main point person for the Save for College Program, Parent Coordinators have played a central role in designing the platform and customizing it to best suit the parent/guardians and families they work with every day. P.S. 228’s Parent Coordinator Reina Verduga works to ensure families know about the Save for College Program and is always looking for new opportunities to integrate the Program into her daily interactions with the parents in the school community.
